The legendary NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA was an exciting time for the Bob Moog Foundation in 2026! From Thursday January 22nd through Saturday January 24th, booth #10604 was packed with synthesizer legacies! As always, we strived to inspire in ways both both musical and educational. This year, we brought out one of five Keith Emerson Moog Modular System Reissues, valued at $150,000. Take a look back on this incredible weekend overstuffed with musical performances and technical demonstrations!

One of our Board of Directors members, synthesizer legend Dave Rossum (E-mu Systems, Rossum Electro-Music), checking out the Moog Modular.

Bob Moog Foundation Assistant Director Craig Frustaci invites a young, fascinated Keith Emerson fan to take the modular for a spin! We love being able to achieve our mission of inspiring people of all ages through the intersection of science, music, technology, and innovation, even at NAMM!

The talents of composer Rachel Flowers make the Moog Modular sing!

Rachel picked up a few modular tricks from Lee Sebel, Online Education Coordinator for the Bob Moog Foundation, and the Musical Director for our NAMM presence.

Synthplex founder Michael Lehmann Boddicker (Buckaroo Bonzai, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, The Bee Gees) demonstrating with a vintage Minimoog.

Michael’s demonstration included some engineering and performance notes for the Keith Emerson Moog Modular System Reissue on display.

One of the highlights of NAMM was our TEC Tracks panel, “Celebrating the Legacy of Keith Emerson.” Moderated by Michelle Moog-Koussa, the rousing, in-depth discussion included Steve Porcaro (Toto), Moog historian Brian Kehew, former Moog engineer and tech to Keith Emerson, Rich Walborn, synthesist Rachel Flowers, and Emerson’s fiancée, Mari Kawaguchi.

Synth sorceress Lisa Bella Donna shared an amazing performance in her favorite way: raw analog Moog power!

Every day in our booth began with the progressive synthesizer stylings of Circuline keyboardist Andrew Colyer, with Grammy nominee Robert Berry on vocals.

While accompanying Andrew Colyer for morning performances, Robert Berry would occasionally play along on the vintage Minimoog.

Ikuo Kakehashi, percussionist and son of Ikutaro Kakehashi (founder of Roland Corporation), and Michelle Moog-Koussa, Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation.

Robert Schindler (Robeone) performs on the Minimoog and the Keith Emerson Moog Modular System Reissue.

Final booth performances on Thursday and Friday included Jonathan Sindelman, a composer artist from Los Angeles.

Award-winning sound designer Reek Havoc accompanied Jonathan’s performances with a portable electronic drumset.
Performances and demonstrations like this made our booth very busy, very often. Every visitor to the Bob Moog Foundation booth at NAMM is an opportunity to spread knowledge of our mission, so we appreciated all the foot traffic. We look forward to our next time at this incredible event in sunny Anaheim!
