We are pleased to announce that our membership program has been updated to include additional benefits for all membership tiers, as well as our participation in the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association. These updates will provide members with new opportunities and access to museums throughout the world.
We now offer five membership levels at varying prices: Resonator ($50), Maverick ($100), Trailblazer ($150), Pioneer ($250), and Inventor ($500). All levels include:
- A membership card.
- The Members-only exclusive quarterly “Synth-Insider” newsletter.
- Early notification of upcoming events or new projects.
- A 10% discount on Bob Moog Foundation merchandise.
- Unlimited Moogseum admission, virtual or in-person for one year from purchase.
As membership levels increase in value, members receive additional benefits that build on one another.

Virtual access to the Moogseum, a brand-new feature, will allow members worldwide to experience this inspirational museum. Executive Director Michelle Moog-Koussa will conduct the virtual tour, which will include stories and detailed descriptions of each exhibit. Since opening in 2019, the Moogseum has welcomed nearly 40,000 visitors and offered interactive exhibits at the intersection of science, music, history, and innovation.
All members will also receive access to “Synth-Insider,” a quarterly newsletter that will feature exclusive content, such as early information and access to upcoming events, rare highlights from the Bob Moog Foundation Archives, guest columns from industry professionals, and more.
Members will also enjoy new password-protected member portals as part of the membership updates. These online portals will allow supporters to access the virtual tour of the Moogseum and other dynamic content based on membership level. Maverick members will receive limited live events, Trailblazer members will have full access to live events, and Pioneer and Inventor members will be able to access live events and a custom portal into the historic material in the Bob Moog Foundation Archives. Examples of exclusive video content available to higher-tier members include video recordings of the 2021 Abominatron Listening Party with David Ball, Exploring the Moog Liberation with August Worley, and Evolution of Modular Synthesis, a performance and discussion with Dave Rossum and Chris Meyer.
Pioneer and Inventor members will also automatically become members of NARM, an association that brings together over 1,200 art museums and galleries, historical museums and societies, botanical gardens, children’s museums, zoos, and more throughout the United States, Canada, Bermuda, El Salvador, and Mexico. NARM members enjoy free or discounted access to all participating NARM organizations. Our participation in NARM ensures that our members get more out of their membership. In celebration of what would have been Bob Moog’s 90th birthday, anyone who purchases a membership in person at the Moogseum on May 23, 2024, will receive an additional gift and a choice of any three stickers.
