Moogfest Rockers and Legends Speak to the Importance of  Continuing Bob Moog’s Legacy


At Moogfest 2011, the Bob Moog Foundation was fortunate to sit down with several musicians and legendary pioneers and talk to them about Bob Moog’s legacy.

In this powerful video entitled “Legacy”, Moby, Wayne Coyne (Flaming Lips), Torley, Joel Cummins (Umphrey’s McGee), Eric Persing (Spectrasonics), Dick Hyman (Pioneering Synthesist), David Borden (Mother Mallard’s Portable Masterpiece), Alan Vega (Suicide), Bryan Bell (Herbie Hancock, Neil Young, Chick Corea), Terry Riley, Diego Stocco , Ayad Al Adhamy (formerly of Passion Pit) reflect on the power of Bob’s pioneering career and the importance of carrying the inspiration he bred forward to future generations.
